DestinationSkin will soon upgrade into sk:n clinics, bringing new sk:n clinics into the family.

DestinationSkin, our long-standing sister clinic, will soon upgrade into sk:n clinics, giving our DestinationSkin clients access to more treatments, expertise and enhanced safety, with the same service they’ve always known. DestinationSkin clinic teams will also move too, so our clients will see the same faces, and you will see some new ones too.

We will be upgrading our DestinationSkin clinics to become sk:n over the next few months, and in a couple of cases, changing location to ensure we continue to deliver the very best service both our DestinationSkin and sk:n clients are used to.

Most of these changes affect our DestinationSkin clients, so we will be keeping them informed on a regular basis regarding anything that might affect them. There are a small number of sk:n clients impacted, and they will also be appropriately too.

You may see new doctors, nurses and practitioners in your clinic, delivering the same treatment. They will be just as experienced, as qualified and with the same level of training as the team you are used to at sk:n.

Our clients care and safety is at the heart of everything we do, and you can trust this commitment won’t ever change. sk:n is regulated by the , the same body that regulates the and other private healthcare providers, and , all of which provides assurance of excellent clinical standards.

Very few sk:n clients will be impacted by this change, but for any that are, they will be contacted in due course. All of our affected DestinationSkin clients have been contacted. You can continue to have your treatment as normal, with the faces you know and love, in your usual clinic.

You can still carry on your treatment as planned, and you don’t need to do anything. If your clinic is moving to a new home, we will contact you to let you know when the location of your treatment will change. You can expect the same high standards of service and expertise from your practitioner, with the enhanced regulation, treatment and safety protocols that sk:n offers. Your package, pricing and finance will not be affected.

We will ensure as much as we can that this move will cause as little disruption to our clients as possible, so we will keep you fully informed of clinic refurbishment dates and moves.

DestinationSkin clients

You can still start treatment, and it will continue as normal when DestinationSkin transforms into sk:n. You don’t need to do anything; if your clinic is moving to a new home, we will contact you to let you know when the location of your appointments will change. You’ll still receive the same excellent service at sk:n, and your package, pricing and finance will not be affected.

sk:n clients

You can carry on treatment as normal. If you are a client of sk:n Birmingham Bull Street or sk:n East Finchley, the only clinics affected, and have an appointment booked, we will contact you to move your to your brand new clinic nearby.

For now, please call your DestinationSkin team as normal on should you wish to book or reschedule an appointment. Please remember we do have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Your treatment will continue in sk:n and we will contact you with more details nearer the time with more information.

DestinationSkin clients

No, this will not affect either your results or package. All clients have been contacted and if they are moving, will head to their brand new clinic soon.

sk:n clients

Only two sk:n clinics are affected – sk:n East Finchley and sk:n Birmingham Bull Street. All affected clients have been contacted, and will move into their brand new clinic very soon. This will not affect either your results or package.

If your clinic is moving to a new home nearby, it is because it will give our clients will get a better service of care – for example, moving to a clinic with more space, more equipment and treatment rooms. This means that your treatment will continue at the new clinic location or another sk:n clinic of your choice. Your treatment will carry on as normal, with the same practitioners and medical grade equipment. We will make this transition as seamless as possible so as not to disrupt our clients’ treatment plans or appointments.

This only affects clients of sk:n East Finchley and sk:n Birmingham Bull Street.

DestinationSkin clients

Clients of those clinics that are moving and have an appointment booked or a package have been contacted appropriately.

This upgrade will happen over a couple of months. We will call all affected clients to let them know nearer the time and their appointments, so you don’t need to do anything at all, just attend your planned appointments as normal.

DestinationSkin and sk:n are merging to deliver an even better range of aesthetic, skin and dermatology services and expertise. Our DestinationSkin clinics are being rebranded as sk:n, and some of our clinics will move a short distance from its current location – this is because we will be able to offer an even better service to our clients in the new location as we will be able to house more clients, more doctors, nurses and practitioners and even more equipment. All of our clients, teams and will move with us into these clinics, and your team of practitioners and doctors are looking forward to welcoming you. We will always endeavour for all of our clients to have continuity of treatment with the same and doctors if they wish.

Of course. At sk:n and DestinationSkin, we have thorough, private clinical notes for each client, which gives in-depth information about the client and their treatment plan. These will continue to be held securely for any new member of the clinic team to access. The great news is our practitioners and doctors are staying when we change to sk:n, so you’ll also see the same faces too.

With this exciting transformation, all of our and practitioners from DestinationSkin are excited to become part of the sk:n team to continue to deliver the very best care for our clients. We will do our very best to put every client in for treatment with their original doctor or practitioner if required, as long as they are available at the desired time slot.

Not at all. practitioners and doctors still have the same high level of training, and the clinics have excellent safety protocols just like sk:n. The difference in that sk:n is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, the same body that regulates the NHS and other private healthcare providers, Health Inspectorate Wales and Health Improvement Scotland. This means that sk:n clinics will always offer the most stringent safety and care measures, as the UK’s leading dermatology and aesthetic clinics.

Every single injectables at sk:n and DestinationSkin is only ever a doctor, dermatologist, surgeon, dentist or nurse prescriber, and to practice all have to be registered with the relevant Medical Councils. This means that, for dermatology services or injectable treatment, you will only ever have treatment with a medically qualified, trained and registered healthcare professional.

All of our skin practitioners, and experts have unrivalled training and upskilling programmes and all are signed off by a nurse prior to every single treatment they deliver, both in sk:n and DestinationSkin. All of this means that you can trust that your care and safety is at the heart of everything sk:n does.

Not at all. To accommodate all of our new clients to sk:n and to further improve the excellent levels of the services we offer, we will be doing a number of things to ensure all clients at sk:n, old and new, can get the appointment they need.

This ranges from increasing our clinic opening hours, the range of services we offer, refurbishing and adding more rooms where possible and increasing the number of doctors and available to deliver these services. We’re also investing heavily in new technology to improve our service and innovation offering.

Of course we cannot promise that we will not experience busy periods where it can be harder to book, but we monitor our clinics every single day to ensure clients can have the appointment they need.

We will continue to store your private medical information securely. Any clients medical information will be passed over securely to sk:n once the transition is complete, and preferred marketing preferences will be honoured and won’t change over when DestinationSkin becomes sk:n.

Any who will have treatment in a new clinic in a different location can also rest assured all private medical information will be transferred and stored securely.

The prices at sk:n are indicative of the enhanced level of clinical care and safety protocols, regulation, and unrivalled level and range of expertise from surgeons to consultant dermatologists, treating hundreds of conditions ranging from mild to severe or complicated. While offered the same standard of client care and team training, sk:n’s enhanced services were previously not available to clients in DestinationSkin clinics.

We monitor our pricing regularly to ensure we are competitive and fair for the high of service we offer, and do adjust accordingly.

As a thank you to our valued and loyal clients of DestinationSkin, we will be offering privilege pricing to those clients when they continue treatment in sk:n. We will be communicating this scheme to those DestinationSkin clients in due course.

Your friend can book in at sk:n as the offer is the same – you both get £50. If they have already booked in at DestinationSkin, they will be transferred over.
