Everyone’s skin is different.

We have different skin types and colours, concerns and goals, and some habits that are not skin-friendly – all of which impacts the way our skin behaves, reacts or ages. And with and skincare  out there, understanding and finding the right plan can be a little bit of a minefield.

If you have mild skin concerns or you’d like to feel more in your skin but you’re unsure where to start, a free personalised skin consultation with a specialist practitioner or nurse at sk:n can help you gain a deeper understanding of your skin, and which treatment and skincare programmes will get you to the best skin of your life.

What happens in the skin consultation

Our aim is to find out what you love and don’t love about your skin, if you have any particular skin concerns and what your skin goals are. We  that with a full skin and assessment, so we can create the right and plan for you.

During your consultation, we’ll remove makeup or products from so we can fully examine your skin, including assessing the texture, thickness and colour which could concerns such as acne or . Your skin will also be examined under a skin scanner, which can indicate if your skin is healthy, dehydrated, oily, or has sun damage. We will take your before photos, so you can see your progress throughout your treatment plan.

We’ll then discuss your daily and monthly and treatment plan to get the best results for you and your skin. We may recommend a number of  including peels, microneedling or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home.  on your goals or the of your skin concern, we will refer you to a doctor or  nurse. And if you are in injectables as a solution to the signs of ageing, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse prescriber too.

Book a General skin analysis and consultation skin consultation with a specialist nurse or practitioner. Ideal for those with mild to moderate skin concerns including mild acne, congested skin, open pores, pigmentation, dull skin and mild signs of ageing, or for those who are simply just unsure where to start. Your skin will be fully  for a number of skin concerns, your skin goals will be assessed, and your personalised treatment plan will be recommended. If you have more pronounced skin that require a doctor or , we may refer you, and can also refer you to a nurse prescriber or doctor for .

To secure an appointment, we will require a . Your credit or debit card will be secured against your . For or Nurse we take a fully refundable (subject to terms) of £25 and £50 for Doctor led consultations. Please refer to our for more information.

Your skin lasts around minutes. This will allow the practitioner to fully assess your skin and your skin goals, your and create a recommended treatment plan.

The consultation is completely free, but we do a £25 deposit to secure your consultation. You won’t be charged if you attend your appointment, or you cancel or move your appointment over 48 hours before your appointment in line with our  policy.​

The cost of your and/or plan will be confirmed during your consultation, but treatment can start from £59, depending on your clinic.

Should you have a more severe skin concern, they can also refer you into a doctor or  if you need to see one. We will ask you to come makeup free, but feel free to bring some with you to put on after the if you wish.

We may recommend several options including chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatment or Hydrafacial, and skincare to use at home. If you have a more severe concern, such as cystic acne, we will refer you to a doctor. If you are interested in to boost your confidence, we can also refer you to a doctor or nurse .
